The following is a transcript of Bravado, the second campaign mission of the Japanese version of Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere, as well as the cutscenes prior to and following the mission. The English translation was provided by Project Nemo.[1]

Pre-Briefing Cutscenes[edit | edit source]

News Report 1[edit | edit source]

  • Newscaster 1: Regarding the Neucom-UPEO talks and the opposition from General Resource, doesn't it seem like voices are saying this'll be the spark of disaster?
  • Newscaster 2: Yes... I would say leaders like UPEO's Del. Clarkson are a type of politician from a bygone age. In this age since General Resource united USEA, when economics has expelled politics and justice, his actions seem to me to be... I can't call them anything but anachronistic.
  • Newscaster 1: In that case, do you think there's no way to avoid the upcoming battle between Neucom and General Resource?
  • Newscaster 2: Yes, but, what I wanted to say was...
  • Newscaster 1: Oh... excuse me. We're taking a commercial break.

ITTC Transmission[edit | edit source]

  • Fiona: Oh, you're there...! There's something I needed to tell you. Dated today, complete authority over UPEO's peacekeeping activities has been given to Cmdr. Park. From now on, you'll be teamed up with Rena as a member of SARF, UPEO's special aviation squadron. Well... if you're going to be together with a UPEO star like her, you're gonna be on live a lot, so you can't afford any mistakes now.

Briefing[edit | edit source]

Early dawn today, our recon forces reported that a Neucom base in the Waiapolo Mountains is jamming radio communications of a General Resource airway. In order to put a stop to Neucom's illegal act, you must neutralize the jamming radars scattered around the base.

Mission Dialogue[edit | edit source]

After destroying all TGTs[edit | edit source]

  • Commander: The operation is a success. Now mop up the base near the craters.

Post-Mission Cutscene[edit | edit source]

  • Erich: Alright, alright, no need to show off!
  • Fiona: Are you suddenly trying to be SARF's ace?

Debriefing[edit | edit source]

Thanks to the operation's success, the safety of the airway has been secured.

Post-Briefing Cutscenes[edit | edit source]

News Report 2[edit | edit source]

Newscaster: The conflict that began in Expo City appears to be cooling down somewhat, thanks to the active role of UPEO's special aviation squadron "SARF", the NUN's... Neo United Nations' peacekeeping forces. However, as for the antagonism between General Resource and Neucom, its spread across all of USEA is evident. The conference at Snider's Top, proposed by UPEO Del. Clarkson, could be the start of a resolution to the dispute between both corporations. —Now, on to our next story.

Press Release[edit | edit source]

THIS AFTERNOON, two attack fighters manufactured by General Resource LTD were delivered to the UPEO Headquarters. They are seen as a response to the NUN request to increase military strength after the violent breakout at Faith Park.

Criticism has been raised over such trends that "UPEO building up military power is against its own original goal of peacekeeping." Its future role is now being addressed.
