Su-47 -VIOLET WING-
The Su-47 -VIOLET WING- is a downloadable aircraft in Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. It was released with the Typhoon -ORANGE WING- in the "Violet, Orange Set" of Pack #03 in April 24, 2008, which costs $3.75 (300 MSP, pre-MSP retirement).
Overview
One of the last aircraft of the "Colored Wing" series, this Su-47 Berkut has been customized for airshow use. It is coated in a striking purple paint, with a number of black spots dotted across the airframe. As well, the smoke trail of all fired missiles is changed into a fitting purple.
The VIOLET WING undergoes the same performance adjustments as all other aircraft in this set. Most parameters are left intact with the exception of air-to-air and air-to-ground, which are upgraded to their max power. Furthermore, the plane's weapons capacity has been greatly increased, allowing it to accomplish most missions with neither the need to RTB to re-arm or the fear of running out of ammo.
