Masato Kanno

Masato Kanno (菅野 昌人 Kanno Masato) is a Japanese video game designer and art director. He is a senior member of Project Aces, having worked on the Ace Combat series since the very first installment.

Biography

Bandai Namco

Kanno has worked for Bandai Namco since at least 1995, as he was credited in the development of both Ridge Racer Revolution and the very first Ace Combat game, Air Combat. Notably, he later served as the lead designer and map director for Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, an original aircraft designer in the development of Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War, art director for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, a mechanical designer for Ace Combat Infinity, and—most recently—as the art director of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.[1]
